Delete your account

Account & data deletion

You can delete your wrap account and everything associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.

In the app

By email

If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account — sending from that address is how we verify the request is really yours. Use the subject line "Account deletion", and include your @username so we can locate the account quickly. We confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.

A request that doesn't come from the account's own email address can't be honored on its own — we'll reply to arrange another way to confirm you own the account, so no one can delete an account that isn't theirs.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile — display name, @username, friend code, and avatar
• Your friend graph — friend requests, friendships, and blocks
• Your game records, daily-puzzle attempts, and lifetime stats
• Your ranked rating and match history
• Your device tokens and notification preferences

Games you played against another person stay in their history as their own record, with your name shown as "deleted player" — the game belongs to both participants. Backups are purged on our normal rolling schedule, typically within 30 days.
